Custom name badges are offered with these three configurations: (1) laminated photo paper, printed on one side and laminated on both sides, with alligator clip- 4 1/2 " x 2 3/4 " (imprintable card area is 2 1/4" x 3 3/4") (2) thin (credit card size and thickness), printed on one side of .30 mil plastic, with alligator loop clip or super-mag clip- 2 1/8" x 3 3/8" (3) thick plastic, printed on one side of 1/4" thick plastic, with alligator stick on clip or super-mag clip- 1 " x 3"

The front side of the laminated photo paper custom name badges is printed; both front and back sides are laminated. Printing is done directly onto the custom name badges paper using museum quality ink jet output. Laminated photo paper custom name badges will last for at least 1 to 3 years and will withstand limited exposure to non-solvent fluids and to heat, cold and sunlight. The front side of the custom name badges is dye sublimated. 1/4" thick durable plastic custom name badges can last for many years and can withstand limited exposure to non-solvent fluids and to heat, cold and sunlight. 1/4" thick durable custom name badges include a plastic adhesive metal clip , or a magnet clip for fastening (see below for more information on our clip options).

Custom Name Badge Security
When you provide us with any custom name badge information, photos, names, employee numbers or clearances, that information must be saved by you on our system in a password protected account that only you have access to.

When printing your badges, we provide both tamper-evident and tamper resistant security options.

Tamper evident custom name badges are available in two printing styles, laminated paper or plastic card.

Our tamper evident laminated paper custom name badges are made of a printed photo sheet that is heat laminated between two 5 mil clear plastic sheets. The laminate will not obscure the photo, text, numbers, fingerprints or bar codes. If an attempt is made to separate the laminate, the paper between the laminate sheets will be torn and will not "release" evenly from the laminate. This makes any attempt to alter the custom name badge obvious.

Thermal printed plastic cards have lesser tamper evident features than laminate paper. Plastic cards are far more popular and any attempt to use a solvent or scrapping tool to change the card is pretty obvious - but it can be done. Also, plastic cards can be re-printed, making changes and alterations to the original card less obvious.

Tamper resistant custom name badge security options include, again, laminated paper as well as thermal-printing. Both are equally resistant to tampering in that the constructions are durable will resist some level of tampering.

Custom Name Badge Designs
We can print from a design (file) you upload or you can use our custom name badge designer, online.
