Custom Plaques Information

Custom plaques are offered as a photo quality image on a black lacquer wood plaque with beveled edges, printed on one side- image area 5 3/4" x 7 3/4" (actual plaque size 7" x 9", 5/8" thick with a black ogee edge), or with a photo quality image on black lacquer wood plaque with flat edges, custom printed on one side- 8" x 10".

Answer: Photo-glazed custom wood plaques are printed on moisture-resistant, heat-treated hardboard about 1/2" thick. Only one side of the custom plaque is printed. The printed side is pre-treated with a white background color, all other colors are transferred to the custom plaque from high quality ink jet output. Photo-glazed hardboard custom plaques can last for many years and can withstand exposure to non-solvent fluids and to heat, cold and sunlight.
